Lineup #10

I know it's cliche but if you're reading this right now, thank you. Whether it's your first time to The Monday Lineup or you've been gchatting me every Monday morning to tell me your favorite song choices since Lineup #1, I am having just the best time in the world sharing music with you and for lack of better words, I feel #soblessed.

In other news, last week was the first time in 5 weeks that I didn't go see live music. What this meant was that I had some much needed time in my schedule to play around on the Internet to find some new tunes. If we are being 100% honest, I've really just played the Jessie Ware album on repeat more so than anything else over the past couple of weeks, but this last Lineup of November is comprised of handful of new songs I've picked up and old favorites re-discovered throughout the month, thanks in part to JMS, PH, OEB and JG.

There's a few songs on here from more seasoned musicians, but most of this Lineup features artists who have EPs or maybe even just a few singles/remixes and have gained traction through the superbly amazing thing that is streaming music on the Internet (sorry T.Swift). One of the many things I'm thankful for.

Until next Monday.

Mix of the Week: Thomas Jack Presents: Kygo - Tropical House Vol.6

For Vol. 6 of Thomas Jack's mix series he let's his good buddy Kygo take over the 1s and 2s. I know I've inundated your ear drums with these guys recently, but with the cold front that came through the US last week I felt the release of this new mix was pretty perfect timing. Also if Thanksgiving cooking and baking stresses you out, grab some speakers, bring them into the kitchen, throw this mix on and I promise your PTSD from past pumpkin pie disasters and overcooked turkeys will disappear.
