Top 30 Albums of 2016 (in Haiku)

I like writing. I love music. But sometimes writing about the music that I love is hard. And it can be especially difficult for me to articulate why certain music makes me feel certain ways, and for instance, why I think some albums are a cut above the rest. Which is precisely why instead of writing full-on album reviews for my top 30 albums of 2016, I decided to see what I could do with in the confines of everyone's favorite grade school poetry structure - the Haiku. Turns out you can say kind of a lot in seventeen syllables. Click on the Haikus to hear each album in full, and have a very Happy New Year!
