The Autobiography of Gucci Mane

Dare I say that The Autobiography of Gucci Mane is my favorite book I've read so far in 2018?

Take this from someone who listens to little to no Atlanta trap music (the genre of rap that Gucci Mane pioneered in the mid-2000s and has spawned future generations of artists like Migos and Young Thug). It doesn't matter.

This book is a fascinating, engaging and somehow has made me feel a strong emotional connection to a man whose music I have never actively listened to. Gucci's story is one for the ages, and so is his book.
